Company profile
The company was established in January 1998 by Simon Sanders. Simon studied Business Computing as part of his HND Business Diploma course (1982-1985), before working as a freelance IT consultant, digital audio consultant and audio engineer. Simon began to move into website and CD-ROM development in 1995, consolidating his knowledge and experience on a course in multimedia authoring at Lewisham College in 1997-1998.
Since its’ foundation, E-Z-Media has grown steadily, providing website and CD-ROM development services for a wide range of clients, mostly drawn from the central government and voluntary sectors. The company has been working closely with the Central Office of Information (COI) for more than twelve years and is listed as an approved supplier.
The company provides a wide range of multimedia development and authoring services, including front-end design and back-end programming, with a particular focus on producing websites that are fully accessible to disabled users.
Technologies utilised include: HTML, xHTML, xHTML-MP, DHTML, CSS, AJAX, PHP, ASP, ASP.NET, SQL, XML, VBScript, JavaScript, PERL, Flash, Director, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Quark XPress. All developments are tested on Windows 95/98SE/2000/XP/ Vista/7/Mobile, Mac OS 9.1/OSX (10.4), Ubuntu Linux and Nokia Mobile Browser Simulator.
